7. I remembered having changed some multitasking setting in Control Panel a short while ago. Turns out that the win + shift + left/right arrow hotkeys are only available if "Arrange windows automatically by dragging them to the sides or corners of the screen" is enabled under "Multitasking" in Control Panel. PS.
Up until March 2020 I was blissfully able to create friendly user documentation using the windows snipping tool with a win+shift+s shortcut to add helpful workflow visuals for my user documentation. It has stopped working although I can still open the snipping tool application and take screen snippets the long way.
